Reena is an Executive Consultant with a background in HR Leadership Consulting and Professional Development for organizations in the legal, consulting and professional services’ industries. Over the past 20 years, Reena has specialized in developing and implementing HR strategies unique to an organization’s corporate culture, providing a competitive advantage for its people, business and strategic success. Over the course of her career, Reena has held leadership roles within legal and professional services’ firms; including successfully launching consulting firms where she supported clients with their workforce planning and organizational design strategies, while developing HR and PD programs to complement their growth objectives.
Reena holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Human Resource Management; a designated CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources) in Canada; an SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Senior Certified Professional in the United States; and a member with the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) in the UK.
Reena is also a member and contributor of the Forbes™ Coaches Council, an invitation-only community for leading executive business and career coaches. Forbes™ Councils provide exclusive opportunities to publish on Forbes.com, one of the best-known business authorities in the world. As an official member of the Forbes™ Coaches Council, Reena contributes to Forbes™ on topics related to Executive Leadership, Workforce Planning Strategies and Professional Development; and is quoted periodically on the Forbes™ Expert Panel. In addition, Reena is a member of Harvard Business Review's Advisory Council to provide research and insight in shaping the content developed, and enriching perspectives on ideas from HBR's publications on management and leadership.
Reena contributes to the community in a number of volunteer initiatives, including written publications and participating in speaker and panel engagements with the CPHR Alberta; the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation; and local Educational Institutions. Reena is committed to ongoing professional development and seeks opportunities to participate in various industry conferences, as well as contribute to mentorship programs for new graduates.
